.Ellora's Cave.

I ordered 4 more Ellora's Cave books today off Amazon. They have great deals for both new and used books, starting at 0.01 sometimes!!! Of course, the shipping is like, 3.99 but still...only paying $5 for a book? You can't beat that! =)

I also wanted to order a hardcover from Ellora's Cave...but didn't really have the money to add it with my other purchase. But I'll definitely be getting it in the future as well. "Forbidden Fantasies" =) The other books I ordered are as follows, in case anyone is interested in reading some of these:

Overtime, Under Him
Naughty Nights
His Fantasies, Her Dreams
Master of Secret Desires (the book I wrote about in my previous post)

I look forward to reading these, and again, highly recommend them to anyone who's interested.

.Books.

If you're into SEXY books....and when I say sexy I mean RACY, DIRTY, I-probably-shouldn't-be-reading-these type of books....I highly recommend reading the "Ellora's Cave" collection of books. So far I've read the following in the collection:

Taming Him
All She Wants
Hurts So Good

And I'm about to start on Fever-Hot Dreams. The next book I plan on getting from this collection is Master of Secret Desires. There are a TON of books in this collection and each book contains 3-4 different stories of sex, love, and just all around dirty-make-you-wanna-blush types of scenarios. Seriously, my first book was Hurts So Good. The next day I ordered 3 more books from the collection! They're addictive and oh so naughty, but man are they good reads! I strongly recommend them...if you're not too embarrassed, of course ;)

.New Car.

Friday, March 20, 2009

AHHH!

So I know it's pretty vain to be writing about this, but I just can't help it, I'm TOOO excited! My grandmother and grandfather took me car shopping today, yes car shopping. They let me know that it was solely my decision on what I wanted and I could pick any car, as long as it was a reasonable price of course, for them to get for me. YES, you heard correctly, they bought it for me!!! So, I chose a used car (for payment reasons, of course) that I thought was perfect. First of all, there's a little story behind it.....

A younger guy had come to the dealership (Mike Patton Auto in LaGrange, GA; I HIGHLY recommend them if you need a car) requesting an '08 Ford Focus SES (the sport edition), black, alloy rims, decked out...stereo, chrome trim, 6 disc c.d. changer, spoiler, sun roof...etc...Well, at the time the dealership didn't have one on the lot, but they offered to find one for the guy. 3 days later they called the guy back to let him know that they had found his "dream" car and that it was waiting on him at the dealership. The guy was having to go out of town and couldn't come by to get it. Well, the dealership told him that if he put down a deposit on it, they'd hold it for him until he got back. The guy REFUSED to put a deposit down, so the dealership put it out for sale.
So, here we come today...I see it and I'm in LOVE! They had a red one as well, but it was all stock and I just LOVED the black one WAY too much! So.....THEY BOUGHT IT FOR ME! I drove it to work tonight and it is amazing! I still think I'm dreaming....It even has lights that come on with the headlights on the interior that CHANGE COLOR!!! AH!!! Ohmigah...sorry this entry has been so shallow, I just have never had anything this nice and I'm so excited about it, I had to share it with all of you =)

I'm so thankful to God EVERY.SINGLE.DAY that He blessed me with such amazing, caring, and giving grandparents. I'd be out of alot of things without them. I thank them, and God, so very much!

The joys of Customer Service.

I hung up on my first customer tonight. It's definitely not something I EVER do, or have done, and I put up with ALOT. But tonight was an exception. I refuse to sit on the phone all fake-kindness and politeness when someone is screaming, and I mean SCREAMING, at me what a dumb ass MFer I am...I'm sorry, but I draw the line at that. Look, you piece of crap...it is NOT my fault that you didn't pay your water bill...it is NOT my fault that you have a leak and can't get it fixed...it is NOT my job to sit here and let you degrade me because you're mad at yourself...so I hung up on her. Of course, I let her know, I gave her the chance to calm down; I let her know that if she did not quit screaming and cursing at me that I was going to hang up. When I first started this job, my supervisor and the lady who trained me let me know that I never, NEVER have to take someone cursing or putting me down; I have the right to hang up. So, I did. Ugh, I wish I felt worse about it, but I don't. I'm sorry! I'm too outspoken and too independent to put up with someone putting me down. I've already been there, already done that; sadly, more than once. I'm not doing it again, and especially not from some stranger who is just pissed off at herself for letting her water bill be almost $200 past due! It's not my problem...I just answer the phones....

Another Saturday.

A rainy, sloshly, COLD Saturday starts my weekend. Of course, I'm at work, ew, and on my way here I just said a silent prayer that God would keep the idiots from calling in today, hah! No seriously, I did say a prayer to make the day go by quickly and to keep the calls few, short, and simple. After the night I had last night, that's my number 1 prayer for today. It's like every crazy person in Clayton County was calling in to bug me. It didn't help that the people out in the field working were like, 2 hours behind either! I kept having to make excuses for them, which was making my job a million times harder on me! Oh well...he's only one after hours guy, and he's been through alot the past 2 weeks (he just lost his mother), so I can let it slide. Everyone has an off day; I should know, I have many! hah! But seriously, I guess the crazies just KNEW it was Friday the 13th. That crazy superstitious cycle was leading all of them to call and harrass me about the most ridiculous things. I even had 2 people inform me that they had already called the news on the company. Please people, put your big girl panties on and get over it! If you're pissed because you've been disconnected, well, you should have paid your freaking bill! (Their favorite excuse is their children..."I have a 2 week old baby and I need my water"; Did you think about that 2 week old baby when you didn't pay your water bill, and now you're $200 past due?! No, you didn't, so I don't wanna hear it. Sorry, but that's just the honest truth.

I'm still silently praying that today is going to be a good day. I LOVE my job, but these Saturday's really wear on me. 12 hours is a LONG time, and I do the best I can to suck it up and get through the day. I'm so HAPPY when 5 o'clock gets here, because I know I only have 3 more short hours to go until I can get home and just watch my llittle girl play and hug and kiss my husband. Ah, the simple things in life. I only wish the weather was more beautiful so Mia could go outside and play with her Daddy some today. Oh well, she's been playing outside all week, so hopefully she'll be ok to miss one day =)

I am sad that today it's cold again. I was so enjoying the warm weather! Wearing flip flops, spring dresses, painted toenails, shaved legs...hah! It was SO nice. And now it has to go and get cold again, poo =( I'm really looking forward to church tomorrow. We haven't been in like, 3 Sunday's, and I'm really missing my church family. Plus, it's always fun to get a little dressy, and Mia's always so adorable in her church dresses. We bought her the most beautiful dress for Easter. It's white and very fru-fru, with little multicolored dots on it. It's so delicate, and I think it's just perfect for her =) Also, I hope I can get the picture c.d. from Ashley tomorrow at church of our family pictures that we had made. I'm dying to see how they all turned out once all the editing was done =) Anywho-I guess I'll quit my rambling for now and go read for a bit. So far so good this morning but it IS only 8:30 ;) Pray that I have a good day. It's greatly appreciated.

**Reading at this point & time: Blink of an Eye by Ted Dekker (I recommend it)

Ashley's amazing photography work.

Of course, there will be more, but these are just a few of her favorites. Thanks again, Ashley, SO much. They're amazing =)
