2 Things to share today =).

I have 2, count 'em 2 things to share with everyone today. First off, since I've been going on and on about my new weave that I was getting today, I decided I'd share a couple pictures in case anyone else out there may be thinking about getting this for themselves. Not a painful process and the end result really is worth it. Plus, I only paid $40 at the local technical college to let a student do my hair; in a salon, I probably would've paid $140, so it was worth it. TADA!!!

And please excuse my (notsoperfect) complexion in these pictures. I had been sitting in a chair since 8 AM and I just didn't feel like touching up my makeup, hah!

Secondly, I want to share this next picture. My husband just sent it to me on my phone and he entitled it "The Babysitter".....see why below:

My sister and brother in laws Pit just had puppies about 6 weeks ago, and I guess Mia decided it was time she kept an eye on them for herself, hah!

I seriously hope everyone is having a wonderful day today. Tomorrow is Friday, so be happy! Hopefully going to get some sexy dominatrix shoes tomorrow that I cannot stop thinking about since I tried them on at Macy's the other day. AH! When it comes to shoes, I just gots to have 'em!

This is a poem I wrote. I've always loved poetry, but lately LIFE has been getting in the way of my writing. I've really missed it, and I'm a little out of touch with writing it, I guess. So please excuse this entry if it's not the most insightful poem you've ever read. It means alot to me, and that's all that really matters in the end anyway.

6. Kept nursery at church. Thankfully, we had the 3 good babies so it was fairly easy =)

8. Relaxed with Chris after he had been fishing all day.


8 things I wish I could do:

1. Lose (lots of) weight.
2. Travel to Australia and Alaska.
3. Publish my poems and become hella famous.
4. Make my marriage work out better.
5. Be a stronger and more confident woman.
6. Leave work right now and go home to patch things up with Chris...well, try to anyway.
7. Find an affordable place to live for me and my family so that maybe our problems would ease up just a bit.

Busy.

Sorry I haven't really posted anything recently. I've just recently begun scanning at work and it is taking up ALL the free time I used to have. However, there are a few things I need to mention.

My mom and husband got into this HUGE argument; they've never really gotten along. Long story short (and sparing you the details, UGH!) things seem to be a little better now. They've just agreed to disagree, but please be praying for them.

Also, the beautiful weather is making me feel sooo good! Since I've been away for a little bit, I have a few pictures I'd like to share with everyone =)

Mia has come to LOVE being outside, and it's hard to keep her in the house now-a-days! She loves drawing with sidewalk chalk and blowing bubbles is her favorite. Her daddy likes to join in the bubble blowing fun as well, occasionally ;) There was also a warm enough day that her and my niece, Pheobe got to spend some time in the pool. They LOVED it!!!

Warm weather just makes everyone feel nicer =) I wanna give a big thanks to my PawPaw and my hubby for giving my car a complete cleaning makeover today-I LOVE ya'll!!!

Eeek....sunburn!

Today has been a good day. Not so busy at work right now; getting to enjoy my newest Ellora's Cave anthology: Royal Bondage (YUM, hah!) Today I got to enjoy some time outside with my niece and my sweetiepea angel baby earlier in the morning. Thinking that maybe I wouldn't get as much sun, since it was only like 10:30....yeah, right. I STILL got burnt! UGH! I guess that's what I get for having the genes of my fair-skinned, redheaded mother =)

But overall, it was definitely a good day. Took my husband to a death metal show (Oh lordy, lol) and dropped my daughter off at my grandparents for them to watch her until I get off work. I'm so thankful to them for doing this; but no surprise there, they're amazing<3

Just a few pictures today while we were out and about. After a few french fries from Wendy's, this is what happened to Miss Mia:

Happy Easter!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and of course, remembers the REAL reason for this holiday =) Just some pictures from today for you to enjoy =)

So another LONG Saturday begins bright and early at 8 a.m.-and already it's a disaster! I can only hope and pray that the rest of the day is NOT like this morning....

Last night on my way home from work, a little yellow, flashy Exclamation(!) point came up on the dashboard of my car. The words below it read "Low Tire Pressure"-URRRGH!!! My new car?! Low tire pressure?! AHHHH!!!! I swear, I get 2 steps ahead and the Devil knocks me back 5! So this morning, my husband gets up to go put the air in before I have to leave for work. He comes in the house and says, "The light's still on. The machine turned off so I just came home." I was like, WHAT?! Why didn't you put more money in and put more air in if the light didn't go off?!?! DUH!!! So of course, he gets pissed off and has to follow me to work to take my car to a gas station up here in Jonesboro to fill the tires up some more......

Good grief, I tell ya! Just pray for me that today is FAR better than my morning has been so far, pleeeeease!!! And also, if you would, say a little prayer for my friend April as well. She's having a tough time right now and just pray that God will give her the strength and courage to make it through.

Good Day.

Since yesterday's post wasn't as sunny as I would've liked it to be, I decided I would post something a little sunnier today. I'm SO happy that the weather is so much nicer today! It's Springtime, for goodness sake; enough of the cold! It felt good to take a trip to see my gradnparents today; just me and Mia, riding with the sunroof open, just laughing and singing along with each other! It's little moments like these that I so greatly thank God for. Another thing, I wanted to share this picture of Mia that I just love sooo very much; it always brightens my day and I hope it helps to brighten yours as well.

Pink Hot Choc-ument.

First, let me start off by saying that I HATE arguments, especially with my husband. I've never argued with someone so hard in my LIFE! UGH! He tends to bring out the worst of me sometimes...as I bring out the worst in him, as well. My wish is that we could go and entire MONTH without having ONE argument. It's not so much that I actually mind the arguing, (I mean, we eventually get over it), it's just I hate it for Mia's sake. I refuse to let her grow up in a home like I grew up in. I REFUSE......so say a little prayer for me that I'll work harder to not argue so much for HER sake, please.

On a happier note, I got to enjoy a true rarity this morning with my breakfast...pink, yes PINK hot chocolate. Mmmmm! Being a lover of ALL things pink, this was absolutely perfect for me to start my day off with.

Oh so yummmy!!!! So despite the argument later in the day, I really enjoyed my morning otherwise. I pray that my evening is MUCH better than my afternoon.

My gift.

Just wanted to share the gifts I received today from one of my most favorite people in the whoooole world....my bestie, Manda. I love her soo much, and she always knows how to make me smile =) I'd be lost without the intimate conversations we have and without the time we get to spend with each other (even if it's not as often as we like).

She told me earlier in the week that she had gotten me a surprise for my new car. I couldn't wait to get it! She knows me so well, so I knew I'd love whatever it turned out to be. So today, this is what I received in the mail.....


...2 new vinyl stickers for my car!! "Twilight" themed, of course!!! AH! I was sooo excited that I went straight outside, in the freeeezing wind, and put them on! They look sooo great and I love them sooo much! She's so amazing! She told me later after I gave her a big ol' THANK YOU, that she couldn't decide which one she liked best, so she just got them both. This woman is incredible! She never ceases to amaze me, and I'd truly be lost without her. So thank you, Man, for my amazing gifts. (And how very appropriate considering that my car's name is "Esme") =)

Favorites for Today...another boring Saturday.

Just thought I'd post some of my favorite things for today; things that have made my LONG Saturday less boring and more enjoyable......

1. Garden Fresh Specialty pizza from Papa John's (YUM! but with no tomatoes...)
2. Getting to go home on my lunch break and seeing the extremely dirty face of my angelbby
3. Another of my Ellora's Cave books that came in the mail today
4. No calls from rude, crazy people about their water problems

All in all, it's been a really good day. I'm starting to feel the slight ache of a headache approaching, but I'm hoping it won't be a bad one, and that maybe I can withstand it until I get off in 3 hours. At least today has gone by fairly quickly.

May be going out to dinner tomorrow night with The Sperm Donor...we'll see ;) hah! I hope everyone has a marvelous weekend!!!

Last Night & The Easter Bunny.

Last night, I got to go out with my bestie, Manda. It's been a few months since we've seen each other, so when we decided to go out to Applebee's last night after I got off work, I was soooo excited to see her! She always knows how to make me smile, and we really had a great time just chatting about all sorts of things, (even sex, my gah!) and just enjoying each other's company over our margaritas. It's so rare that I just get to go out with her by myself, so I really enjoyed just the 2 of us having the time to spend just catching up and having some "girl-talk." =)

Okay, so I woke up this morning thinking that THIS Sunday is Easter. So I had this BIG plan that Chris and I needed to rush out to Wal-Mart before I went to work today to get everything together for Mia's Easter basket. HAH! Easter is NEXT Sunday, but oh well...at least we got the pick of all the good Easter stuff before it was all ravaged through. Mia was with us at Wal-Mart, but of course she wasn't paying that much attention as to what we were getting, besides a few things. She picked out a tiny TinkerBell tin in the shape of a flower, so I decided we would just use that as her basket. But then, of course, I saw a larger TinkerBell pail that was just TOO adorable for me to pass up, so we got her that one TOO (so she'll have 2 Easter baskets....who cares?! If I wanted her to have 10, she would! hah!).

The Easter bunny will also be bringing her a HUGE fluffy pink bunny (it's like a body pillow bunny), some ring pops, some jelly beans with this really cute little bunny on a motorcycle that actually rides across the room, some frilly pink hairbows, and some more jelly beans with this googly-eyed face changing thing attached to it (whatever, she loves stuff like that so it doesn't matter whether or not I can explain it, lol). Me and Chris, well ME more than Chris, always go overboard when it comes to buying things for Mia. I just love her so much, and I just love the way she looks at her new things when we give them to her! I just can't help myself, I'm the mommy, after all! Just one of the MANY joys of being a parent, I guess =) But Mia is definitely going to have some nice goodies from the Easter bunny come next Sunday =) And I'll be posting the pictures up of that, as well as her in her Easter dress at church soon after the events =) I hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

If I could keep it from happening, I would....

There are some things in life, no matter how hard you may try, you just can't seem to keep them from happening...over and over and over again. It truly gets monotonous; always having to say the same things, do the same things to prevent it, hear the same promises just to have them thrown back in my face as insults to be used against me. I try with everything I have to give to keep you from doing these things...how much more do I have to give before you realize I'm truly serious about this?! I've almost given it all. How much more is left of my heart? How much more is left of my resolve? Do you expect me to just continue on like this? Giving EVERYTHING and never getting anything back in return? I try to protect you, never change you. But maybe you need to change; maybe that's the problem. You just don't see it the way others do; I know you don't. I wish you did. I just pray that nothing happens to you. That's my biggest fear. It keeps me awake, restless, some nights, do you know that? I just don't know how much more of myself I can give to you, without getting anything in return. I'm about all used up. But I'll give everything, until I'm nothing. And once I'm nothing, who's gonna be there to take care of you then?...
